Orchard dinners, farm weddings and private events at the agrihood on Ray Road and the homes built around it.
Catering in Agritopia
Agritopia is 166 acres off Loop 202 at Ray Road, built on what was the Johnston family hay farm before the freeway cut the property in half. Rather than pave it, the family kept eleven acres as a working USDA-certified organic farm and put the houses around it.
The result is the only true agrihood in the East Valley, and it is a genuinely good place to eat outdoors. The Garden holds about 200 for a ceremony and 100 seated under mature shade trees and grapevine arbours. The Orchard takes up to 250 among the peach and citrus groves. The Porch, beside The Farm House, suits about 50. Final Assembly sits inside Barnone, the old quonset hut, and is the one indoor room on the property.
There are restaurants on site too, and the farm runs its own calendar — Farm Night on the second Wednesday from September through May, U-Pick weekends in spring. Plenty of what we do here is not at the farm at all: it is at the houses a two-minute walk from it, where a backyard sits on a greenbelt and the produce came from down the street.

What we cater in Agritopia

Ceremonies and receptions for 60 to 250 among the peach and citrus groves, or under the shade trees in The Garden.

Seated dinners for 12 to 80, at the farm or in a garden a short walk from it.

Company gatherings, meetings and picnics on the farm, which welcomes them.
Planning notes
A working farm is a wonderful venue and a genuine operating business. Four things to settle early.
Farm Night runs the second Wednesday of most months from September through May, and U-Pick weekends fill the spring. Check your date against the farm's calendar before anything else, because parking and access change completely on those days.
The Garden and The Orchard are open ground with no kitchen, no walls and limited power. We arrive with our own equipment, quiet generators and event lighting. Final Assembly at Barnone is the fallback if weather genuinely turns.
Mature shade is why the site looks the way it does, and it also means low branches, uneven ground and no clean overhead rigging. We walk it first and plan a layout that works with the canopy instead of fighting it.
The property has its own restaurants and its own event terms. Confirm what is included, what you bring, and what is restricted before you sign. We will tell you what to ask and work to whatever comes back.

Frequently asked
Yes. The Orchard holds up to about 250 among the peach and citrus groves and The Garden takes roughly 200 for a ceremony under mature shade trees. We bring our own cook line, generators and event lighting, since both are open ground without a kitchen.
Yes, and a good share of our work here is exactly that. Backyards on the greenbelts a short walk from the farm suit seated dinners of 12 to 80 very well, and they come without the farm's own event calendar to plan around.
Farm Night is the farm's evening market, held the second Wednesday of most months from September through May. Parking and access across the property change on those days, so check your date against the farm calendar before you book anything.
No. Both are open ground. We arrive with a full mobile cook line, quiet generators and our own lighting, so the lack of a kitchen does not limit the menu. Final Assembly inside Barnone is the indoor option if weather turns.
Every event is quoted individually rather than from a package tier. Tell us your guest count, the space and the style of service you want, and you will have a written quote back, usually within an hour or two, that itemizes food, staffing, rentals and bar separately.
